Maxine Ryan has been a friend and collaborator for years now, and I’m really happy to finally be able to publish this portrait of her. Back in 2014, she and George Harrap started Bitspark out of Hong Kong, a bitcoin remittances startup that has since become a partner of my own startup Bloom. They continue to be one of the most active businesses in possibly the most challenging subsection of the fintech space.
Last year, they successfully launched their token sale Project Zephyr, which brought some great attention to the Bitshares blockchain, and proved to me that good, honest companies can do ICOs without compromising their integrity or vision.
