Raiders of the Lost Ark is pretty high up on my list of all-time favorites, and it holds up surprisingly well even in the face of all the progress we’ve made in the field of VFX over the years.
I had the inspiration for this piece while musing about how hard it is for the average person to get into crypto. It always seems like there are so many scams, traps, pitfalls … not to mention the occasional poison dart or massive incoming boulder. I keep thinking about ways to make it easier, and we’ve certainly made huge strides with companies like Coinbase effectively reducing personal Bitcoin trading to a simple set of buttons and forms. It’s not perfect, but at least it doesn’t feel like you’re taking a leap of faith over a huge technological chasm anymore.
